Un Puente de Voces (A Bridge of Voices) is a →virtual fundraiser and →three-part interview series exploring asylum, detention and migrant solidarity along the U.S.-Mexico border. The intention in conducting these interviews is to amplify important stories about human migration and support a shelter in Tijuana, Mexico, called →Casa Hogar El Puente (Group Home The Bridge).

El Puente (The Bridge) is a refuge for asylum-seeking women and children from Central America who are directly impacted by the United States’ Migrant Protection Protocols, often referred to as ‘MPP’ or the ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy. Together we hope to raise $15k to build a new communal bathroom (25 residents currently share a single occupancy bathroom), and ensure 1 year’s worth of operating costs.
